YOUTH BUSINESS MANAGEMENT WORKshops

The Youth Business Management Workshop series sponsored by FCC and supported by the Ontario Youth Dairy Trust Fund was very successful. The 5-session course from Jan – Mar 2025 held at The Grand Way in Elora was attended by 16 keen young producers. Over the 5 sessions they learned from industry speakers on topics such as, financial statements, human resources, debt servicing, business structures, succession planning and more. In addition, 4 progressive producers shared how they apply the workshop concepts to their own operations. Thank you to Chris McLaren, Cox Wensink, Dylan Stewardson, Mark Sterk and Ben Loewith.
